I think this short film is important and very sad, but also very USA. I think we are more fortunate in Canada to have a greater respect for people and races. I recently bought a lifelike black baby doll for our 13 year old. She loves it and looks after it well (she has never had a baby doll before - only Barbies), except the other night in a temper tantrum when she threw the doll on the floor. She is very happy that this is a black baby doll, and she identifies with her.
